Steps for viewing and applying to NRAP Assignments

SUBMIT applications online by Friday, March 28, 2008, 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.

1. Review nearly 100 NRAP rotational assignments below. You may apply for up to 3 assignments in any Line or Corporate Office. If you apply to an assignment that is not within your level of responsibility (e.g., GS11–12), please explain how the assignment will meet your learning needs. 
2. Discuss with your supervisor your interest in applying for one or more NRAP rotational assignment(s).
3. Complete the Online Application Form, prioritizing your choice of 1-3 assignments on the same online form.
4. You and your supervisor will receive email confirmation that your application was received. At that time, your supervisor’s approval will be required for your application to be considered.
5. You may or may not be contacted by a host supervisor for an interview.
6. You will be notified whether or not you are matched with an assignment by mid-May. If selected, you will be given an opportunity to accept or decline.
