Additional Online Journals Available through JSTOR. The
Biological Sciences Collection has been obtained to compliment
the existing Ecology & Botany Collection in JSTOR. The
Biological Sciences Collection will include at least one hundred titles
when it is completed in 2007. Coverage in this collection offers greater
depth in fields such as biodiversity, conservation, paleontology, and
plant science, in addition to introducing new areas such as cell biology
and zoology. Titles include: Bioscience, Invertebrate Biology,
Journal of Herpetology, Journal of Mammalogy, and Taxon.
Additional Back Files Purchased for ISI Web of Science. Seven
additional years of ISI Web of Science back file information has been
purchased by the NOAA Library Network. Literature searching is
now available from 1984 to present. Access to the Web
of Science database is available through the Rice Library's
Online Databases web page.

title. Your initial search will search only the NOS Rice Library
collection. If you want to search all library
holdings in all NOAA Libraries, you will need
to select "ALL" from the dropdown menu.

Library Serial Holdings This provides an alphabetical
listing of all periodical titles that are held in the Rice Library collection.
In addition, the beginning and ending volume numbers and corresponding
years are listed; with the Library of Congress call number for locating
the title on the shelf. A tutorial for

assist you in your searching.
Databases provides access to the following electronic bibliographic
literature searching databases, such as, CSA Illumina (ASFA, Conference
Papers Index, Human Population and Natural Resource Management, Oceanic Abstracts,
Sustainability Science Index, Toxline, and Water Research), Elsevier's Science
Direct, IngentaConnect, and ISI Web of Science, BIOSIS Previews, Current
Contents, Journal Citation Reports and Scopus. A tutorial for
searching and saving records from the databases had been added to this site
to assist you.
